Software Design Engineer
Equiom is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:
Software Design Engineer/C#
In this role, you will be responsible for building a Portal (Intranet web site)
using a combination of Sharepoint and ASP.NET. Job responsibilities include, but
not limited to: Working with a team of program managers and developers to identify
the requirements for the site. Design a solution, including the user interface,
to display the required information in a manner that is easy to digest for executives.
Pick up information from backend SQL databases and information form excel spreadsheets
and display through a graphical interface on the portal. Integrate project management
scrum data on the portal. Display End to end release management content maintenance
on the portal. Good C# knowledge, web development, and understanding of the program
management discipline are required. Understanding of Sharepoint is a plus.
Lab Manager
As the Lab Manager, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting
and maintaining all of the hardware and software necessary to support product development,
data builds and pre-production of a revolutionary web service. Job responsibilities
include but are not limited to: Manage, Mentor and Grow a team of Lab and Test Engineers.
Configure and provide all regular and release-driven maintenance functions including
all hardware/equipment, Software, rack, power, network and bench setups. Install,
upgrade, configure and maintain software on a regular, frequent basis. Utilize your
skills and knowledge to provide technical troubleshooting and resolution of complex
network, system, application and performance hardware and software issues. Run automated
and manual end to end verification tests on a frequent basis while providing status
reports on test scenarios, lab/machine and configurations issues. Integrate and
engineer new technologies, answer questions, propose solutions and act as a technical
resource, while providing support for the product team and internal partners. Qualifications
include: Stellar knowledge of 64-bit high-scale rackmount based server environments
with extensive knowledge of Windows Server 2003. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft
Server Technologies: Server2003, .Net Framework and CLR-based hosting, XML, EIF,
IIS, Active Directory etc. and experience in setting up and administering NT domains
and domain controllers as well as SQL administrator experience required. Proven
experience installing/upgrading/imaging software and operating systems and setting
up computer hardware required, including ADS and Octopus. A solid working knowledge
of Gigabit Ethernet, TCP/IP, routing and switching with solid networking debugging
skills. Demonstrated trouble-shooting and problem solving skills required. Strong
Testing experience including VB/script, Perl and batch file level programming and
debugging knowledge required. Strong interpersonal communication skills, organizational
skills and attention to detail required. Bachelor's degree, MCSE in Networking,
technical training certification, or equivalent work experience/training required.
Software Design Engineer in Test
Testing various features and components of an ASP.NET high volume web site as well
as content feed servicesservices thru the external systems. Develop automation tests.
Individual will also be driving performance testing for their components and will
be responsible for the overall quality, including test planning, automation, reviewing
and signing off. Working knowledge of C#, MSSQL, and automation is required.
Program Manager
We are looking to fill an immediate opening for a Project Manager to manage IT web
applications. This is a long-term (1 year+) contract position based out of Redmond,
WA. The candidate will be responsible for the change-management for a Microsoft
IT Intranet web application. This includes working directly with Microsoft and another
vendor team in Redmond to prioritize all necessary changes. Dispatching and coordinate
the actual work to 10 offshore (China) engineers, ensuring the delivery and control
quality of incremental changes to Intranet web applications. Requirements tracking
and ownership on functional specification for future release of the Intranet web
applications. The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience in development, testing
or managing web applications. Strong customer advocate and project management experience
is a must. Familiar with methodology such as SDLC. Excellent verbal and written
communication skill. Ability to communicate verbally in mandarin is preferred but
not required.
Senior Test Lead - Reliability & Availability
We have an immediate opening for a senior test engineer in a lead role with experience
in designing tests and managing test execution for a high availability (99.9999%
uptime) application in a Microsoft Windows/SQL Server environment. You will be responsible
for designing test frameworks, planning test execution, and analyzing test data
for highly available applications that run banks, ATM networks, stock exchanges,
and mass transit systems; all using Microsoft-only technologies for Fortune 500
businesses. The ideal candidate has a strong computer science background with 6+
years in developing and testing commercial grade Microsoft Windows/SQL Server application.
Hands-on experience in stress-testing highly available applications is required.
Proven track records of working with complex, large-scale deployments of mission
critical applications is a must. Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Software Design Engineer
We are looking to fill an immediate opening for a Software Design Engineer with
experience in developing and debugging Win32 applications. This is a contract position
with Microsoft and will be based out of Redmond, WA.
Responsibilities: If you are looking for the opportunity to work on challenging environment and develop critical components for the upcoming Windows Vista Operating System, then this position is for you. This will be part of the Windows Core development team. You will be responsible for making sure the Windows Vista vision of “It just work!” becomes a reality. This involves debugging application level, investigating API call sequences, designing and implementing necessary changes inside the Windows 32 subsystem to ensure existing applications work on Windows Vista without requiring any modification.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate is a solid C/C++ developer, with at least 3 years designing and implementing Windows application. You should have working knowledge of debugging applications at the assembly language level without access to original source code. The candidate must also have a good understanding of the Win32 API. Strong analytical skill, ability to work independently with minimum supervision, and great organization and communication skills a plus.
