The Equiom team onsite at Microsoft/ Boulder is seeking an individual to be a part of an exciting project to provide high resolution aerial orthomosaics for BING MAPS. The BING MAPS Team is currently seeking a Flyer Administrator/Coordinator to assist the Aerial Acquisition Team in their daily tracking and organizing efforts. Ideal candidates will have some understanding of Aerial Acquisition and Flight Planning principals, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. 1) Flyer Coordination: i. Attend weekly coordination meetings for each flyer (total of 3-4 hours total per week). ii. Track bugs and status, iii. Assure flyer media supply. vi. Evaluate and grant DDC override requests. v. Assist in resolution of flyer equipment issues. 2) Flyer Reporting Requirements: i. Weekly flyer status report preparation, ii. Monthly flyer status report consolidation. iii. Monthly flyer cost and performance reports. vi. Changes to master shape file. This Position required proficient in use of Office products including Work, Excel, Access and thorough understanding of use of formulas and macros in Excel. Intermediate ArcMap skills and excellent attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and Understanding of aerial acquisition principals and flight planning. Working knowledge of map projections and datum conversions and ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment. We are looking for an individual who can effectively work with software developers and other leads, on a daily basis, to increase the quality of various web-based software applications. Your role on our team would primarily consist of the following: 1) Define the correct test automation architecture to use in different test environments. 2) Provide valuable input to other PMs and dev leads in the design phase as a customer of the site. 3) Lay out feature test area ownerships and test schedules. 4) Work closely with other test and developer leads on fast-track release cycles. 5) Diagnose, debug, and troubleshoot issues (e.g. performance) at the system level and at the coding level. The best candidate should have a good test methodology background. They should also have plenty of experience in understanding product cycles and testing milestones. Candidates must be self-starters who can adapt to new technology quickly, have good communication skills, and have the ability to see the big picture as well as understand the fine details of web services and C#. You must be a top performing test lead who enjoys driving for quality. Test automation background in C# is a strong plus. Qualifications include a minimum of four years experience in test development. You must be fluent in C++ or C#. Experience with imagery testing, photogrammetry, GIS, or any other online mapping background preferred. A candidate with experience in performance/stress testing, AJAX, ASP.NET, XML, powershell, or API automation would also be best suited for this position. BS degree in CS or equivalent experience required. In this role, you will be responsible for building intranet or extranet web sites using a C#/ASP.NET. Job responsibilities include, but not limited to: Working with program managers and developers to identify the requirements. Design solutions, including the user interface, to display the required information in a manner that is easy to digest. Pick up information from backend SQL databases and information form Excel spreadsheets and display through a graphical interface on the portal. Understanding of Sharepoint and web service development using SOAP is a plus.. We are looking talented software design engineers capable of designing and implementing server software that powers our award-winning family of interactive travel products. You will be responsible for the design and implementation of powerful, highly scalable, and reliable server applications. You should have minimal of 5 years experience in developing production quality code in a professional software engineering role. Experience in developing server side applications in C++ or JAVA on NT or UNIX platforms and working knowledge with related technologies such as XML, XSL, and SQL. A BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is preferred. You need to have a Bachelor degree in GIS or related field with minimum 6 years of experience in photogrammetric or remote sensing production. A good understanding of GPS survey and processing technolog/ Proficiency in the use of ArcView, MapInfo or similar software and excellent trouble-shooting, multi-tasking skills are required. You need to have a Bachelor Degree in GIS or related field with minimum 3 years of experience in GIS, photogrammetry or remote sensing. A good understanding of GPS survey technologies and proficiency in the use of ArcView, MapInfo or similar software. You must have excellent attention to detail and strong trouble-shooting and multi-tasking skills. You need to have a associates or Bachelors Degree with minimum 1 year of experience in GIS, photogrammetry or remote sensing. A basic understanding of mapping principles and use of aerial imagery are required. Experience in the use of ArcView, MapInfo or similar software and strong trouble-shooting skills are must.
